I have to admit, I’m being a little pushy here. I am trying to win a free copy of Carole Thayne Warburton’s novel, A Question of Trust. There is nothing like a blog contest to spark an interest in things. Anne Bradshaw’s Place, is hosting this contest, as part of a guest blogger’s article.
Guest blogging is quite popular, and Anne seems to host guest bloggers on a regular basis. This week her guest blogger is Carole Thayne Warburton. In the article, Carol shares a story about when she was fist writing the book. She let her brother read a chapter, and he suggested she visit a cattle auction, as that was the setting in the chapter. The importance of getting the sense correct when writing can never be understated. If you can make your reader feel they can see and smell the dust, hear the cattle bawling, it adds to the effect of “taking your reader there”. Carole shares comments about the importance of research, especially if it’s a subject your not familiar with. It is always better to get the scene right, and not lose any credibility in your readers eyes.
Help me out, and pay a visit to Anne Bradshaw’s Place, Leave her a comment and let her know where you heard about her site. Join in the contest if you like, grab your own chance at winning the book. All you have to do is write a blog post about the contest and Anne’s site, and maybe twitter or share it on facebook to gain more chances.
Don't forget to check out A Question of Trust, and Carole’s other book Sun Tunnels and Secrets

Okay Eric. I've gone and commented at the site. I hope you'll win a book. For me, I'll add it to my Christmas list, so that family will have something to get me for Christmas. I don't need diamonds these days. Books will do just fine. Tehehe.

Thanks Tasha, I just thought I would have a little fun with it.
Congratulations, Eric! You just won Carole's book, "A Question of Trust." I'm letting Carole know in a moment and she will mail the book to you. Please contact me on my website contact page at http://www.annebradshaw.com/CONTACT.html with your shipping address so I can forward it to her. Thanks for your fine blog posts.
Eric, thanks so much for taking the time to write about my post and book. Anne tells me you're the winner. Congratulations.
@ Anne, Thanks, I run on over and leave you an email.
@ CTW, it was my pleasure. I always enjoy finding new authors.
