Magpie Tales; Do Tell

I’ve been having a lot of fun writing stories, inspired by a simple picture.  It is very challenging, and pretty rewarding too.  It’s a simple concept, you visit the web site, Magpie Tales, and see what has been posted as a prompt.  Then all you have to do is dream up a story, poem, or vignette to go along with the picture.   Surprisingly enough, it’s not always so easy. 

What I find most intriguing, is the astonishingly varied reactions people have to the same picture.  I just spent the last three hours, skipping through the 40 plus entries for this week.  They are creative, inspiration, sad, and so very diverse.  It then becomes a challenge to create a valuable comment worth the price of admission, 40 times, each different than the last. 

I found this weeks challenge educational in more ways than one.
