Well, this is another pre-written scheduled post entry. Monday didn’t quite go as I had planned. It started off with me sleeping through my alarm, and being considerably late for work. No excuses, really I have no idea what happened. Anyway, I didn’t get as early of a start as I should have.
I managed to get all the material together for the job I have to do this week. I ended up delivering it to the job site, and carrying it all down the hill to the house for ease of access. The builder was supposed to meet me out there, but couldn’t make it, so I came on home. So we move what I was supposed to do today (Monday) to tomorrow (Tuesday), and see what happens with that. At least the boss man was able to get me some help for the week!
This will push Ruminations next post up to Wednesday night. Well at least It’s not as bad as it could be.

Gawd, isn't that embarassing!?! I (of all things) locked my keys in the car early last month, and The Dawg was up before me to attend a local business networking breakfast . . . so once I gave up desperately searching the house for my keys, and checked the car and saw them, I had to wait another hour for him to get home before I could head off to work. Not exactly modeling tip-top work ethic for my reportees (sigh . . . ).
One would think one would grow out of these silly things, eh?
But it sounds like your day was set to be "off" anyway, and you obviously needed the gift of a bit of extra sleep; and I actually got quite a bit of email resolved via my remote link to the office whilst waiting The Dawg's return, and the traffic was MUCH less heavy later in the morning, so I suppose my silliness resulted in a wee gift to myself too.
Funny how things work out sometimes.
It never fails to amaze me, the amount of stress we put ourselves through over these things. Then when you look back, you realize that every thing worked out for the beter.
