Don’t worry, your where you thought you were. It’s still the same old blog that used to be known as RSTMB Side-Blog. I just got tired of the old look, and didn’t really like the name anymore. Of course in the digital world it’s very easy to give your site an extreme makeover, and this one cost nothing but a few hours of my time.
I started this site as a side blog for Ruminations of a Small Town Mountain Boy, but it has become more of a daily journal. At least for the past few weeks, and a couple months prior to that dark and hideous time I had to fight for computer time. I seem to keep everyone up to date on what’s happening with all my blogs here, and my life in general. So I decided to call it simply Side Notes. Because everyday, something of note happens, and this is where I’ll record it.
Please note that there is a widget for each of my other blogs on the side bar. You’ll find a summary, and a thumbnail of the picture I used with each post. If you find something interesting, just click on the title and you’ll be taken to that article. There will be more widgets to follow, and I’m hoping to combine the three main blogs in one tabbed widget. It’s just a matter of paying for the yearly membership at Widget Box, and then there will be no adds in the widgets either. It’s not expensive, just $30.00 for the year, I simply need to be sure I can spare that thirty.
Also, the commenting system is the new ECHO format, which I really like. It’s the brand new development from the JS-Kit I had before. Threaded comments are still possible, simple click the “Reply” link. Also you can add photos and videos to your comments if you want. So, look around, see what you think, and let me know.

Wish I could figure out how to make is say my name instead of guest.
Thanks for checking out my new look. With this comment system, you can change the name by clicking on the name displayed. I your case, just click on guest, and type in the name you want. You can also add links to your blog, Facebook, Twitter, and much more by clicking on "add another site".
It still makes me grin in flabbergasted wonder that my Wee Bro has become a computer geek! LOL
Gotta geek it up on a regular basis. What can I say. O:-)
