In a Breath of Passage

Passage

Sunday, so serene and peaceful, passes like a wraith in the night.  Visible, yet far from defined, shadowy and surreal.  Quiet and peaceful, the silence a unique diversion to life’s hectic schedule.  A sailboat passing between two monoliths on a calm sea.

A peaceful interval, that glides by in a breath of existence.  So fast, it seems that a blink of the eye and it’s elapsed in a cloud of misty vapor.   I dream of a time when the clock can be stilled, time paused.  A moment when one can frolic in the wonder of worry free continuance.

Life is not so dreamlike though.  Filled with unimaginative events, dull and repetitive.   Therefore, it’s best to enjoy the repose, take in the solace, and cherish the moments that are.  Creating in our own thoughts, for the briefest duration, that which we desire.  An active imagination, is a useful tool.

The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything

Happy Birthday Sis!  I know it’s tomorrow, but I’ll be early this year.

Well it's calmed me a bit....even though I now work Sundays and have Mondays off. It's not the same...Mondays that is....I can feel the aggro and the vibrations of all the others who are at work...It doesnt help.

I loved the peace of Sundays. "<span style="font-family: Georgia; color: #333333; line-height: 20px; ">Sunday, so serene and peaceful, passes like a wraith in the night"</span>

Now I have no peace. Im trying to give up smoking. (12th day) and there is no peace. I can't concentrate, can't write.....I ask myself...Is it worth it?

Henry, I'm sorry to hear you no longer have the peace of Sunday's.  I understand exactly what you mean by feeling the vibrations of those who do work on Monday.  For years, 8 or 9, I worked almost all weekends, and nights.  There is a different vibe emminati<span style="border: 0pt none; margin: 0pt; padding: 0pt; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; font-family: serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: bold; line-height: normal; font-stretch: normal; position: static; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; text-align: left; text-indent: 0pt; text-transform: none; color: red; text-decoration: underline; cursor: pointer;">ng in thos</span>e circusta<span style="border: 0pt none; margin: 0pt; padding: 0pt; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; font-family: serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: bold; line-height: normal; font-stretch: normal; position: static; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; text-align: left; text-indent: 0pt; text-transform: none; color: red; text-decoration: underline; cursor: pointer;">nces.</span>

<span style="border: 0pt none; margin: 0pt; padding: 0pt; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; font-family: serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: bold; line-height: normal; font-stretch: normal; position: static; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; text-align: left; text-indent: 0pt; text-transform: none; color: red; text-decoration: underline; cursor: pointer;"> Keep</span> up the effort, I'm not going to tell you it gets easier soon, but eventually it will.  Be cautious of the confident feelings a few months along, they have caused a relapse for me that will haunt me for a while.

I sympathize with you, I could not think straight let alone create anything worth posting for nearly two months.  The nervous energy is what caused my lack of organized thought.  I had a lot of creative ideas, just couldn't seem to get them on paper / computer no matter how hard I tried.

I wish you luck with it, and hope the greatest of success finds you soon.
