I have noticed a few little quirks about life as we age. Things change, and along with them hopefully we change also. I know that as I get older (I’m not that old) my outlook on the different aspects of my individual existence seems to alter course. I don’t know if that makes any sense or not, but that is what happens in my mind more often than not.
It would be interesting to know in advance what is in store for my life’s direction. I suppose though that would take all of the fun out of life. I wonder what we would miss if we had a life map laid out before us. The decisions already made, long before you came to a crossroad. It would take away that growth that each of us experience in our own way. Kind of similar to the Garth Brooks son The Dance.
I think it’s better not know what is to happen, for otherwise there is so much we would miss!

Very well said, Eric. I agree whole heartedly. I just want to know one thing - the day of my death.lol. :-D
Being a Virgo, and eldest sibling, I'd probably apply WAY too much linear direction on my life path. Thank goodness I don't have that level of control, I shudder to think of how many really cool things I've done that I would have missed.
But I agree with Jena, knowing the date The Fates have scheduled for my death (not the manner of) would have weighty advantages I think.
LOL, I'm not sure I would want to know the date even. It may change the way I would approach that day.

I know what you mean, but I think I'm better off leaving things up to fate.

I love that song. And I'm with you, I'd leave it to fate about the date of my death also. You're so right. If we know when our time is up, we'll modify the way we make our moves, decisions and our way of thinking and planning our lives.
